I am a female singer-songwriter from Blackpool Lancashire.I am living in Hampton Middlesex as I move here in October 200 to pursue my dream of a music career.
I have been writing lyrics since I was at primary school and wrote my 1st ever song in about year 6.As I grew up my lyrics got better and were influenced at 1st by RnB and mainstream to being influenced by bands like the Arctic Monkeys,The Zutons,The Streets,The Stands,The Smiths and females like Lily Allen and Kate Nash have definetly played a big part in my influences.
About a year ago I had all these sets of lyrics but no matter how much I tried,I could not think of a melody for a single one of them.Then one night,I sat up until half past 1 in the morning and I came up with melodys for everyone of my best songs.Since then my songs have got better and better and I think if melodys instantly now.
As well as having the songs I use, I also write many songs that I would like other artists to sing.
I would say that songwriting is my best talent and I always think about how lucky I am to be blessed with such a talent.
