hi, my name is Patrick RAFFERTY, and im a 29yr old singer songwriter from Belfast, N.Ireland. i have been actively singing and writing songs since i was 18yrs of age and (insanely, some say), dropped out of a law degree to pursue what really makes me happy- music!! i have been in many short-lived bands, but because my music taste is quite diverse and im pig headed in what i believe in and write about, i struck out on my own a few years ago. so, my life has become an endless merry go round of late nights, gigging, busking, writing and alot of caffine and nicotine abuse! ive had songs played on american rock radio stations (energy road), been in countless studios and competitions, and i wouldnt change my life for the world. i love rock n roll, and i will continue to write and perform whether i get record deals, win competitions,etc. some people have found my songs confrontational, challenging, even slightly political, but they mean everything and nothing, like all good rock. i just write it. you decide.
