I’m an 18 year old singer song-writer from East London. I started to teach myself guitar about 5 years ago but have been interested in music from a young age. I write about what I know, things I experience both serious and more light hearted. I use my music to express my opinions. I have taken part in organised events such as Dagenham Town Show and Barking and Dagenham Peace Week Festival, for which I recorded the anthem. In 2007 I won a battle of the bands competition and played at the Liberty Music Festival Weekend as a result. I also play at pubs and clubs in my local area. I have been interviewed and played on Time FM radio station and also BBC Essex and have also had articles written about me in a couple of local newspapers. I have recorded two cds so far, one 5 track EP in 2006 “Dedicate”, and an 8 track album in 2007 “Like Yah…” which are freely available on request from my myspace site.
