Hi! I’m Amy Leeder and I’m nearly 16.
I started playing the guitar when I was 8 and I’ve been writing songs since I was 11.
I was invited to play my first public festival when I was 12 (oh boy was it scary). Since then I have played at many different venues, most recently The Bedford River Festival which is the 2nd biggest river festival in Europe!
I play acoustically but also front a band called ‘Amy and the Integrals’. We recently won Bedfordshire’s ‘Battle of the Student Bands’. We were so surprised to win as we were against bands that had been around so much longer than us. We have also been on BBC Three Counties Radio, singing ‘LIVE’.
I wrote ‘The Truth’ about a night out I had around Christmas time. All of my songs tend to be about things that happen in day to day life!
